Therapists
I am a qualified and compassionate counsellor offering affordable individual, couple, and family counselling and psychological services through Akhtar Counselling. With a strong foundation in therapeutic practices, I hold diplomas in Counselling Skills, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Couples and Family Therapy, Child Counselling, and PTSD Awareness, among others. My additional CPD certifications in Trauma-Informed Interventions, Online Counselling, and Transactional Analysis (TA) ensure I provide effective, up-to-date support. I specialise in managing anger, challenging behaviours in children, and stress reduction, using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs. Committed to accessibility, I offer flexible online bookings 7 days a week, including public holidays, making therapy convenient for all. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where healing and growth can flourish. Let’s work together towards positive change.
