Together with kindness and your permission, we gently explore the depths of his or her story to find where the conflict began, with this acknowledgment and insight, the individual can begin to work through the stuck-ness by using a range of therapeutic techniques, such as talking therapy, artistic expression, play therapy and cognitive behavioural strategies to help them become their true and authentic self. I use my knowledge of neuro-science, depth of experience and professional training to explore the trauma and break the patterns created by intergenerational trauma. Thus creating new patterns and developing new choices. Being Interculturally trained, my theoretical approach embraces the richness of difference and diversity as I lean into the protective factors that the wealth of the individual’s culture brings in, order to foster a stronger sense of self-worth, healing, and growth.

I am a qualified Integrative Humanistic Psychotherapist/ Counsellor for adults, teenagers and children. I also have advanced qualifications in the development of Children and Young People with a specialism in working with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. I also work with adults who have experienced childhood trauma. Part of my offer is to combine these unique experiences to provide a therapeutic space for parents to explore, express and be guided around issues they are facing with their children. Helping them to become their own child’s therapist. My professional career working with children, young people and their families spans over two decades. I have experience working across the board in all areas of education from Early Years, Primary School, Secondary Education and within Youth Justice.
