I’m Param, a Humanistic therapist and advanced psychotherapist trainee at the Metanoia Institute, where I also serve on the Board of Trustees. As a BACP-registered practitioner and Recovery Coach, I have nearly a decade of experience supporting people through grief, addiction recovery, depression, neurodivergence, cultural challenges, and relational difficulties. In our sessions, I will meet you where you are, offering care, compassion, and steadfast support as we walk together toward where you want to go. My approach is non-judgmental, inclusive, and deeply respectful of your experiences. Whether you are navigating life's challenges or sitting in dark, uncertain spaces, I will be there with you, offering honesty, authenticity, and a space held sacred for your healing and growth.

I specialise in grief and loss—not just bereavement, but also the pain of relationship endings, career shifts, and life transitions. I am passionate about helping people navigate their relational challenges and find healthier, more fulfilling ways of connecting with themselves and others. My approach is deeply relational, person-centred, and culturally informed, always working with respect for your unique autonomy and way of being in the world. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I am constantly learning and developing as a practitioner to better serve those I work with. Having personally experienced and overcome challenges like depression, addiction, and difficult relationship patterns, I bring not just professional expertise but also lived experience to my work. I offer online and in-person sessions in Greater London, providing a warm and supportive space where you can explore your challenges at a pace that feels right for you. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’m here to walk alongside you.

As a psychotherapeutic counsellor and recovery coach from the global majority, I have lived in multiple continents. Including studying in the US & UK, working across Europe and travelling across Asia. I am passionate about addressing the unique challenges faced by men of colour and a co-founded The Work, emphasising the importance of men supporting men in opening up about their mental health and breaking down outdated notions of masculinity for personal growth. I work in private practice, and have working in international trade for 12 years and supporting various charitable organisation. I decided to dedicate to my life in the service in 2016 and moved into the charity sector, counselling for Ealing Abbey Counselling Service, Kingston Bereavement Service, Metanoia’s Counselling and Psychotherapy Service, Adfam, as well as various other charities since then.
